Modern therapy for anxiety, identity, & relationships
Hi, I’m Jenn. I’m a licensed therapist in California, offering a more modern approach in therapy. I work with Millennial and Gen Z adults, for individual and relational therapy.
Clients often share that our work has helped them move from stuckness to growth, from self-criticism to self-trust.
As someone who values radical compassion, I work differently than “old school” therapists. I won’t rush you to open up; I won’t label your thoughts and feelings as “problems”; I won’t give you advice, or just nod and smile, while you’re expressing your suffering. I will respect your your preferences, earn your trust, and be an active partner in your growth. I will help you navigate the "messy middle" of life, through heartfelt conversations that spark change and help you celebrate your victories along the way.
So whether you’re looking to break old habits, start a new chapter, or just feel more connected to yourself and others, I’m here to help.
Available in San Diego & Online
Who do I work with?
• Children of immigrants exploring identiy
• Adults carrying unresolved childhood trauma
• Tech workers struggling to find meaning
• Therapists needing more balance & rest
• Couples yearning for deeper connection
• ADHD-diagnosed adults healing shame
What do sessions typically look like?
Clients usually attend therapy once a week, or once every two weeks, at a recurring time, to ensure predictability and consistency. Sessions can be 50 minutes or 90 minutes, depending on client need and therapist availability. Sessions often focus on a mix of topics that are urgent (what’s happening in your life right now, such as work stressors) and important (what you want to process long-term, such as childhood dynamics). In each session, we will also address any immediate symptoms that are interfering with your daily life, such as sleep issues, rumination, trouble relaxing, overworking, etc.
What informs me as a therapist?
Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by how memory, culture, and landscapes shape who we are. I’ve learned how to navigate different identities, as a child of Lebanese immigrants; how to build (& rebuild) community through life transitions; how to leave the corporate world for something different; and how to heal burnout while establishing myself in multiple careers. Everyone’s story is unique, and it’s not my place to tell you how to live - I’m here to help you rediscover the wisdom within you.

Therapy Intensives
In addition to weekly therapy, I offer therapy intensives—a deeper experience for focused work on a specific topic.
Intensives are designed for people who often feel that single therapy sessions are too brief; people who want sustained momentum, or people who are drawn to a more retreat-like, immersive therapy experience. Intensives can be especially helpful when working through a specific theme or life transition, if you’re ready to go deeper than the pace of traditional therapy allows.
Intensives may focus on topics such as core values, identity and culture, burnout, imposter syndrome, inner critic work, or nervous system regulation, and I also offer EMDR intensives for more concentrated trauma processing.
Pricing is the usual hourly rate, times 2 or 3 hours. I aim to keep the process collaborative, including setting fees that make intensives more accessible to people who are interested. Although intensives are a bigger upfront investment, they can save money by providing a deeper experience in therapy, faster.
Workshops/Events
Aside from 1:1 services, I also run workshops & groups!
Not only do these events help with skill-building, but they also foster community, addressing the loneliness and isolation that is so common in our adult lives.
Each workshop focuses on specific themes (such as core values, imposter syndrome, inner critic work, etc.), while encouraging learning in community with others. Depending on the event & effort involved, workshops are priced independently. While workshops are not covered by insurance, I try to keep my business practices relational by pricing workshops fairly, and collaborating with participants on pricing.
I have extensive experience in workshops, ranging from intimate conversations, to larger group dialogues. Topics can include identity, emotional intelligence, stress management, active listening, & more.
If you’d like me to run a workshop for your event or company, but aren’t sure where to start, please reach out to collaborate! I’m always happy to co-design custom experiences that fit your desired learning context.
